Growing disciples of Jesus Christ is one of the core values at Grace Community Church. Our ministries reflect this value as we work to foster discipleship locally and globally through Bible studies, fellowship, accountability, prayer, and missions.
One of our greatest assets fostering discipleship from early childhood is Grace Christian Schools. We provide quality God-centered Christian education to over 450 students from preschool through 8th grade.
Grace Kids: Children from birth through 5th grade are welcome in Grace Kids. Infants and toddlers go to the nursery located in the sanctuary. The older kids are divided into classrooms by age.
Vacation Bible School: It is a tradition every summer at GCC to host a Vacation Bible School in which many of our churched and unchurched children from the community are invited to participate.
The youth group meets on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. They meet together for fellowship, worship, and message. Then they break into discussion groups by gender and age.
Junior High Program: This program serves youth from 6th through 8th grade.
High School Program: This program serves youth from 9th through 12th grade.
The men of Grace Community Church have a special responsibility as head of their household. GCC recognizes the importance of biblical leadership and provides opportunities for men to meet together, to be accountable to one another, and to be firmly rooted in the Word of our Lord.
The Guard: this gathering of men meets once a month for breakfast, study, and prayer.
Men’s Bible Studies: The men meet weekly for a study of the Bible.
Women’s Bible Studies: The women at Grace meet on Wednesday nights and Thursday mornings for fellowship and an in-depth study of the Bible.
Women’s Ministry: The women’s ministry is responsible for organizing the annual Women’s Retreat.
The men and women at Grace meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am for hymns, prayer, praise, and a verse-by-verse study of the Bible.
Koinonia: This fellowship is open to all ages.
Crossroads: This fellowship is for middle-life stage adults.
Bereans: This fellowship is the heart of our ministry to our senior life-stage adults.
Community Groups: These groups are designed to get plugged in and discipled in a smaller setting. The groups meet in members’ homes to go over the weekly sermon in more depth through discussions, prayer, and fellowship.
Music: GCC has a worship team committed to leading us into deeper fellowship with our Lord each Sunday. Grace also has a choir that meets on Thursday evenings for rehearsal, occasionally taking part in our Sunday worship service. The worship team also hosts a Hymn Sing once a month.
Prayer: On the last Tuesday night of the month GCC gathers for the Encountering God Prayer Service.
Hospitality Team: This outreach team prepares meals for special events, serves coffee and danishes on Sunday morning, and works to create a warm welcoming environment for guests and members alike.
Events Team: This ministry works closely with the school administration to plan combined events such as bingo nights, spaghetti dinners, and drive-in movie nights.
Graceworks: Our local ministry partners with ministries including Operation Christmas Child, Friendship Shelter and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Saddleback Hospital. Graceworks also helps individuals in need.
Food Pantry: The GCC food pantry provides necessities for anyone in need.
Deacon’s Fund: Is a budget allocated for members and regular attenders in financial difficulty.
Mercy Fund: Is a budget allocated for non-members.
We at GCC are blessed to be able to support 17 families working in various parts of the world through prayer and financial contributions. We work closely with our missionary families and occasionally send teams to work alongside them. We have been so blessed in being able to send teams or individuals abroad annually.
